Highlights of Australia
Australian highlights tour- Australia map
Australia is a place of all seasons. And it is abundant with nature’s grace. Because of these reasons alone, Australia is that awesome destination where you can do all sort of things. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, Australia is laden with sports activities that can keep you happy. But if you’re the laid back sort, there are a number of subtler activities that you can enjoy, too. Here are a handful of great activities that you could do while you’re enjoying Australia holidays and tours:Scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef area and perhaps Australia’s most popular tourist attraction. You can surf, snorkel, fish – the list goes on – when you don’t feel like diving. If this is what you’re worried about, not knowing how to dive, you could take diving lessons and you could rent some equipment, too. Unfortunately, global warming is causing damage to the reef. In the years to some, the reef will be utterly destroyed. Dive in the Great Barrier while you can.Go on a road trip Pack your gear, spread a map and start the engine. Take a classic road trip along the Pacific Coast. You could drive from Sydney to Brisbane, which is a popular route for road trips in Australia. Brace yourself from the breathtaking view of the coast and rolling hills. There are lots of things that you could do along the road, too, like stopping by at wineries and historic sites. But really, what matters is that vast, astounding view of the sea that is never the same each second you drive by.Go on a road trip, again. This time take the route to outback Australia. Sure, it is mostly arid land with lots of bushes. It is also hot – make sure you bring enough water. But it’s an amazing opportunity to see the scenic expanse of reddish sand, with slight changes of the plain when a mountain or two emerges. The outback is also rich with wildlife and dinosaur fossils. In outback Queensland, there are museums and parks where you can see these fossils. Stop by at Sydney Opera House You have to do this simply because you have to admire the opera house’ architecture. It is indeed a modern architectural marvel. Or perhaps you go there because you have tickets to watch an actual show and be inside the opera house itself. Either way, it is a special way to spend a day in Sydney. While you’re there, check out Circular Quay and the surrounding harbor. Whether you stay in the city or go somewhere else in Australia, it is truly a beautiful place that is worthy of your time to visit.
