Florida is mostly warm and sunny, making it a popular destination for tourists. Because of Florida’s usually pleasant weather, beach resorts are famous. But Florida is not just about the beach. It is also home to many amusement parks. Speaking of amusement parks, the first thing that you should do when you’re in Florida is…Go to Walt Disney World Yes, it is cliche. But how could you ever resist Walt Disney World? Watching Disney films is probably an important part of your childhood, as it is to a lot of people in the world. Revive your inner child and relive your childhood fantasies by exploring Disney World. Take note of the word explore. Disney is a really big place and there are a lot of awesome things that you could do. You have to strategically plan your visit at Disney if you want to go to other places in Florida, and it’s a great idea to check out Disney ticket deals online before you go to save time and money. The park is well-organized and if it is really hard for you to narrow down the places you could visit at Disney, just pick a major area and start from there. You could go to Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studio or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And if you’re up for a fun ride you might as well go to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. While you’re at it, make a list.St. Augustine City. This is probably the Disney World of culture in Florida. St. Augustine is the oldest city that was established by the Europeans in the United States. If you want culture, you can experience it in St. Augustine. This city is rich with historical sites and old architecture, the remnants of what had been a Spanish, and later on, a British colony. If you’re fond of architecture, okay, even if you’re not, you must not fail to visit Flagler College, which is basically an architectural haven. Ponce de Leon Hall, Flagler’s College most prized building, was originally built as a luxury hotel. Until today, its Spanish Renaissance architecture is kept intact. You can book a tour and Flagler students can give you a fun and informative tour around the campus. The oldest Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum is in St. Augustine, too.Chocolate Kingdom, please There are more famous places in Florida than Chocolate Kingdom. You could simply head to Miami, to another amusement park or to the beach. But Chocolate Kingdom (Kissimmee, Florida) may just be worth your visit. It is, after all, a kingdom of chocolates. While you’re there, you get to see how chocolate is made, along with a historical background of chocolates. The nicest part of the tour, your opinion may differ when you’re there, is that you get to make and design your own chocolate.
